Introduction

The Asia Pacific Trade Seminars (APTS) aims to provide the forum for exchanging research ideas in the field of international trade and investment.

The APTS holds annual conferences at universities in the Asia Pacific region. The conferences are open to researchers and graduate students worldwide who work on theoretical or empirical aspects of international trade and investment.

The fifth annual meeting of the APTS will be held at University of Hong Kong on June 29-30, 2009, hosted by the School of Economics and Finance.
