Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Finance Programme, you must:

  • Possess a good Bachelor's degree from a recognized university;
  • Have at least 2 years of post-graduation work experience (applicants with strong academic records but no work experience are welcome to apply for full-time programme for which core courses will be held in the daytime at Cyberport, Admiralty Town Centre or Pokfulam campus); and

Overseas Applicants

We welcome overseas applicants. Candidates who wish to be admitted based on a qualification from a university outside Hong Kong, where the language of teaching is not English, are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Alternatively, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) will also be accepted as an equivalent standard. Upon successful application, overseas students will need to arrange their own student visas.

Tuition Fee

The proposed tuition fee for the academic year 2010-11 is HK$162,000, subject to final approval of the University. The fee shall be payable in 3 instalments over one year for full-time study or in 6 instalments over two years for part-time study.

Should students like to take additional courses, each course will cost HK$10,000. Subject to approval of the Programme Director, advanced standing of maximum four courses may be granted and the tuition fees would be adjusted by HK$10,000 per course accordingly. There is also a non-refundable application fee of HK$300.
