Student Associations

Information Systems Association (ISA), as the official student representative organisation of the BBA(IS)/BEng(SE) double-degree programme and BBA(IS)/BEng(CS) double-degree programme, aims to promote the innovation and visionary designation of the four-year double-degree programmes. We endeavour to contribute to areas related to the field of information systems - not only facilitating the communication between students and teachers, but also securing the complete organisation and unity of all students of the Double-Degree Programmes.

Activities organized by ISA

• Examination Preparation
  Super-pass Dinner and Past Paper Distribution are organized to help students prepare for their examinations.
• IS Exposition 2007
  IS Expo '07, which consists of Academic Forum, Workshops and Firm Visits, was organized to raise students' interest in the IT industry and promote information systems as a field of study.
• IS Shield
  Inter-year sports competitions include basketball, football and badminton matches for the Members to enjoy and relax.
• Orientation Programme
  A series of activities were organized, such as Information Day, Tea Gathering and Orientation camp, for freshmen to meet friends and learn more about the University.
• Joint-University Entertainment Day
  The Joint University Entertainment Day for Information Systems Students gathers IS students from different Universities, to communicate with each other and extend their social network, as implied by the name of this function, 'Bridge', which means bridging them together.
