FBE = Opportunity!

Here, you don't need top scores in order to enjoy a wealth of opportunities. I myself have made the most out of my FBE life by joining an exchange programme to Canada, two internship programmes with HSBC Hong Kong and HSBC Beijing; plus another internship experience with an investment bank. What's more? My team won the Champion of the 4th HSBC Young IT Entrepreneur Awards with the support of FBE. The awards offered my team a study tour in Seattle, US, where we joined a tailor-made study programme and visited renowned companies like Microsoft and Boeing.

I believe choosing FBE in HKU is my wisest choice made in my tertiary education. During these 3 years, FBE has provided me with so much flexibility and support to excel. The learning here is dynamic and full of fun: exchanging in the US for one year, participating in international and regional competitions, as well as internship experiences with Morgan Stanley in California and Goldman Sachs in HK are among my memorable experiences that would definitely last for life!

During the last two years with FBE, I have had a deeper and deeper understanding of what "commitment to excellence" is. I was constantly encouraged and heartened by the Faculty and my fellow students, with the help of which I managed to challenge many things I had thought incredible. International conferences, overseas exchange programmes and summer school in Washington DC, all have enriched me with invaluable insights. While the great efforts of the Faculty deserve applause and gratitude, I sincerely hope more and more excellent students will join us to embrace a very prosperous future.
